Coursepad is built to keep your information yours. This policy explains what Coursepad stores, where it lives, and who can see it. Coursepad is made by octechco (Delara Daryaei), the data controller for the purposes of this policy.
Without an account, everything you enter (courses, schedule, assignments, grades, instructors) is stored only on your device. It is not sent to us or to anyone else. There are no ads, no analytics, and no tracking.
If you subscribe to Coursepad Pro and sign in, your planner data is synced so it stays in step across your devices. To do this:
You can stop syncing at any time by signing out; your data remains on the device. To delete your account and synced data, email us (see Contact) and we will remove it.
Coursepad Pro is sold through Apple's App Store. Payments and subscription management are handled by Apple; we do not receive your payment details.
If you grant calendar access, Coursepad uses it in two optional ways, on your device: it reads your calendar to show your events alongside your classes, and (only if you enable "Show schedule in Apple Calendar") it writes your classes and assignment due dates into a dedicated "Coursepad" calendar. Coursepad does not read or change any of your other calendars.
Coursepad schedules local notifications on your device to remind you about classes and assignments. These are generated on-device; no push server is used.
Coursepad can be used without an account and without providing any personal information. Creating an account (for Pro sync) requires you to confirm you are 13 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
